Hanjo Corporation operates HANJO FARM in partnership with coco peat plantations in Sri Lanka and India, developing OEM-based coco peat manufacturing and export businesses. We are currently building a stable international distribution network to supply high-quality coco peat products from Sri Lanka and India to the Japanese market.

The Japanese market already contains many coco peat suppliers, and trust and long-term relationships are highly valued within the industry. For this reason, we focus not only on selling products, but also on providing proposal-based services tailored to each customer’s specific needs and growing environments.

Our current product lineup includes small-pack coco peat, 200L barrel types, compressed block types, and grow bags, covering a wide range of agricultural and horticultural applications. These products can be used for farming, gardening, soil improvement, seedling cultivation, and hydroponic growing systems. We are also preparing to establish online sales channels for these products in the near future.

Currently, peat moss remains the dominant growing medium in Japan, but we believe coco peat will continue to expand in the future. Unlike peat moss, which is based on limited natural environmental resources, coco peat is a sustainable material made from recycled coconut husks. It represents a renewable circulation-based resource — plant, grow, and regenerate.

Through coco peat, we aim to connect the environment, agriculture, and people while helping to build a more sustainable global circulation for future generations.

Coconut Development Authority – Export Registration 2025

Hanjo Corporation (Pvt) Ltd is officially registered with the Coconut Development Authority of Sri Lanka to export value-added non-kernel coconut products, including moulded coir products, compressed fiber pith, grow bags, and compressed husk chips.
This certification, issued under the Coconut Development Act No. 46 of 1971, is valid until 31st December 2025 and confirms our compliance with Sri Lanka’s export regulations.
